Loose Tooth!

Breaking News!  This morning as I was brushing Hunter's teeth before church, I noticed that a permanent tooth was pushing up behind his bottom baby tooth.  (Is he really this old already?!)  Sure enough, I checked out his front bottom tooth and it is a little loose.  We still have some time, but I can't wait to show you a picture of that toothless little grin!

Hunter the hunter

It was a big weekend in our house this weekend for our little Hunter.  He got to go and sit with his daddy at sunset!  He had no clue that we were planning this and when we asked him that afternoon if he wanted to his response was, "But I'm not 9 yet".  Since deer opener, Hunter had been waking up at the crack of dawn, putting on his "blazing" orange, setting up stuffed animals around the living room and sitting on the kitchen stool  his deer stand.  It is so fun waking up to "Bang, bang, bang!"
Craig said he did well for the most part.  He shuffled around a lot which made some noise and when they did see a deer Hunter was a little excited and talked above a whisper to point out the deer to his dad.  However, it was too far away to try to get.
Craig was unable to get a deer this weekend.  Maybe next year we can add another deer to our basement (fingers crossed that we don't-no offense Craig).  But, he did see a black bear within a 100 feet.  At least he has a good story to tell, right?

 Hunting is serious business.
Craig and Hunter ready to head out for sunset.

First Time for Everything.

Tonight the unexpected happened while I was giving Brody a bath.  He stood up, said "Uh-oh!", scrunched up his face and pooped in the tub.  That has never happened before with either of the boys!  Oh well, there's a first time for everything, right?  Luckily Hunter wasn't in the tub.  Phew!  But still gross...

Copy Cat

Apparently Brody has gotten to be quite the funny boy lately, because a lot of my posts have been about him.  Today we were at Craig's parents and were outside running off some energy.  Well, I was standing there wishing I had the energy the boys have, and they were running off theirs.  Really, where do they get it all from?

I noticed their cat, was eating grass.  We told her to stop because it usually makes her sick.  Brody took notice as to what Maddie (the cat) was doing and decided that he should try too.  The grass had just been watered by the sprinklers and Brody thought it would be great to lick the water off of the blades of grass.  Gross.  We told him to stop, but he thought it was pretty funny an apparently didn't taste too bad.

He continued to run around, but before we left snuck in a couple more licks of water from the grass.  Copy cat?  I think so.

Rain is a Good Thing

There is a song by Luke Bryan (a country singer for those of you who don't know who that is) called "Rain is a Good Thing".  After days and days of rain, I would sing bits and pieces of this song in my head and reminding myself that the rain isn't all bad.  Ok, maybe not this much rain, but really, we do need it.  There was one line of the song that was on repeat in my head.  "Kids out playin' in a big mud puddle."  I knew that I wanted the boys to get out and play in a puddle once the rain finally quit and assure them that rain can be fun too.  Thankfully this week, Hunter has had science camp so he hasn't been stuck inside all week.  But, a lot of "Rain, Rain, Go Away" was sung in our house this week.  And let's all be honest, we've had enough for awhile and we're ready for summer and the sunshine and heat that goes with it.  And I knew that they would get dirty...I just didn't know how bad it would get.  But I can tell you, there is nothing better than seeing pure joy on your child's face and it doesn't matter how dirty they get as long as they're having fun...right?

Brody and Hunter testing out the big mud puddle at Grandpa Al's.

Splish! Splash!  Not going to lie, this was almost a big collision.

Classy kid.  I asked Brody to point to his nose and this is what I get.  Also, take notice of his jeans.  They're pretty dirty...

But since they weren't dirty on the back, he decided to fall and get the full dirty effect.  I actually love this picture and so glad I was able to capture the splash.  And I couldn't help but to laugh.  My dad thought I was crazy and just shook his head most of the time.  But I did see a few smiles on his face.

Yep, I didn't anticipate that it would get this messy.  Oh well.

This summarizes the boys so well.  Hunter has always hated getting messy and this was really pushing the limits for him.  In Brody's eyes, the messier the better!  He literally crawled through the puddle.  I hope we get to do this again this summer.  I hope that the sun in shining and it is warmer and I can strip them down to their undies and diapers and let them have fun and rinse off in a sprinkler.  See, rain is a good thing.  Especially in the eyes of a child!

Road Trip!

WARNING!  PICTURE AND WORD OVERLOAD!

Saturday morning, the boys and I hit the road and headed south to Iowa to go and visit Craig.  We knew it would be a long trip, but for some reason, it felt a lot longer than we anticipated.  First stop: Sauk Center, MN.  Yes, only 25 minutes into our trip.  The boys were doing fine, but we needed to buy tickets for Craig and Hunter so they can go and see some monster trucks this upcoming weekend.  Next stop: Redwood Falls, MN.  My bladder just couldn't hold it any longer, so we pulled off at a Wal-Mart.  Typically we go to gas stations, but I always feel like in order to use their bathroom you have to get gas or buy something.  And, I packed snacks, water, juice, pop so there was no need to go to one.  We walked in and found $1 on the floor.  So, Wal-Mart paid me to use their bathroom.  Next stop: Windom, MN.  I finally convinced Hunter that we needed to stop for lunch somewhere.  He didn't want to stop because he was eager to see his dad.  After arguing with a 5 year old (you don't always get very far) and a phone call to his dad, we decided we better stop or else we would be really hungry.  Next stop: Sioux Rapids, IA.  It was so nice to finally be in the same state as Craig!!    We stopped, went to the bathroom and bought some water to refill the sippy cups.  We kept trucking...oops!  carring according to Hunter since we weren't driving a car.  Next stop: Carroll, IA.  We went to Wal-Mart again and used their bathroom.  I wish I would have taken a picture of their sinks because they were so cool!  We tried to get together with our old neighbors in Carroll, but they were busy.  Next time.  Next stop: Atlantic, IA.  This is the town Craig is currently living in.  I had to go to the bathroom again so we stopped at a Wal-Mart before heading out to the site.  I promise, I'm not pregnant, but that bathroom breaks sure felt like I was!  Next stop: Massena, IA Rolling Hills Wind Project.  We were able to meet some of Craig's co-workers, see his office and he gave us a small tour of the site.  They are busy and at the end of the project there will be 193 turbines.  This is one of the biggest wind projects in the country and is also Mortenson's 100th wind project.  Kind of exciting!
Here is a picture of a base-mid (the lower 2 sections of a wind turbine, a 19 axle trailer that hauled a nacelle, and a blade in the background.  Next week they will start topping off turbines which means it will look complete with the top section, nacelle, hub and blades.  We then went with Craig back to Atlantic and saw the "dirty hotel" aka Craig's apartment.  The halls were in need of some cleaning but Craig's apartment was in decent order.  We grabbed Subway and were off to Council Bluffs, IA for the night.  As the sun set, we arrived at our hotel...the new hotel in Hunter's words...and slept for the night.  The next morning, we packed up and headed to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE.  It was amazing!  We arrived there around 9:45 AM and didn't leave until 3:00 PM.  Granted, we ate lunch there, but there was so much to see!  If you haven't been there and ever get the chance to go, I highly recommend it.
Craig and the boys feeding the goats in the petting zoo.
Hunter and Brody ready for the steam engine to give us a tour of the zoo.  They boys loved it.  Brody was a little hesitant at first, but really enjoyed himself.
Hunter and Gerry the gorilla.  The zoo person was telling us some info about him and told us that Gerry likes to scare people by charging the glass and banging on it.  He told us that Gerry thinks it's funny.  Little did we know that it would happen about 5 seconds after this picture was taken.  And even though we were half way expecting it, you never dream it will happen.  It was so neat though.
Here is a picture of the steam engine that took us around the zoo.
The boys and I in front of the giraffes.  I like giraffes.
Brody checking out sharks, sting rays, sea turtles and fish as they swam around him in a tunnel.  It was very cool.  I told Craig, "Isn't it crazy knowing that these things were swimming with us every time we went to the beach in Texas."  I don't like to think about it.
Epcot?  No.  It's the Desert Dome that houses lots of animals from the desert.
After the zoo, we went to downtown Omaha.  We found a park to walk around and then went to a street fair and checked out lots of art from different vendors.  It was a gorgeous day and we were able to walk around the little river thing.  Very relaxing.  Not a bad family picture for a self timer, huh?  We are all looking and smiling!
While walking around, we came across this really cool slide.  You had to wait in line just to go down it.  There were two and that was the only playground equipment.  It was huge and something we didn't expect to find downtown.  Hunter had a blast going down it twice!
After a day in Omaha, we headed back to Atlantic, picked up some things from the dirty hotel and then went to the new hotel.  We were exhausted!  The next morning, Craig left for work before any of us were up.  It was up to me to get the boys ready, fed, and out the door with all of our luggage.  The day started to Hunter waking me up because he was sick to his stomach.  Great.  Just what we need.  Thankfully he wasn't throwing up...it was the other end.  Not ideal, but I think throwing up is worse.  So, we got up, I ran downstairs to the breakfast room while Brody was in his pack and play and Hunter was watching him/cartoons.  Grabbed a few things to eat and headed back with my hands full.  I gave Hunter very specific directions not to answer the door for anyone, but with my hands full of food/drinks, I couldn't reach my key in my pocket.  So I kicked the door with my foot and after a couple of minutes of that and convincing Hunter I wasn't a stranger he opened the door.  We ate breakfast, finished packing up and headed out.  Let's just say it is rather difficult when you're on the second floor of a hotel with no elevator, two kids, three bags of belongings, a diaper bag, a purse and a pack and play.  But somehow, we made it out and nobody got hurt.  Phew.  So we were on the road.  First stop: McDonald's in Atlantic, IA.  I needed a boost to my day so I got a large pop to start it out.  It's so nice they only charge $1.  Next stop: Carroll, IA.  About 15 min. before we got there, Hunter told me he had to go to the bathroom really bad and his tummy hurt.  We were no where close to a bathroom!  Ahh.  Thankfully, we made it to a gas station and it was obvious that he was a sick little boy.  How were we going to make it the remaining 6 hours drive time.  That is not including stops.  We drove by our old house in Carroll and headed to Wal-Mart.  I bought some big boy diapers for an emergency and we were down to one wipe so we got more.  As we were in there, the rain started to pour, the lightning was flashing like crazy and the thunder was booming and cracking loudly.  We were stuck.  So, we went and picked up an umbrella.  The rain was coming down in sheets and the wind was very strong.  There were many people standing in the entry way and we did too.  After about 5 minutes, I realized we couldn't wait for the rain to let up, we had to go for it.  I grabbed our bags, grabbed Brody, told Hunter to stay close and opened our new umbrella.  We quickly went to the car, but the wind was catching our umbrella and we ended up getting wet.
Hunter thought it was fun running through the storm.  Brody wasn't a fan.  And he wasn't thrilled to be back in his car seat.  As you can see we were a little wet.  Not too bad though.  So, after 45 minutes in Carroll, IA we set back out on the open road through a thunderstorm.  It let up about 20 minutes down the road, thank goodness.
Here is a barn that I like along the way that is north of Carroll.  Many barns/out buildings in IA have quilt blocks on them.  Kind of neat.  We drove and we drove.  We stopped to get some gas and we had a bathroom break.  After our break and Hunter assured me he didn't have to go to the bathroom, we were on the road.  Five minutes later, it hit and he had to go.  So, we pulled over on a gravel road to put on a diaper.  We finally got it on after 15 minutes of tears because he knew he wasn't a baby, but I convinced him it didn't mean he was a baby, it was for an emergency.  So, we got it on, but then he didn't have to go.  False alarm.  We kept it on just in case.  We drove until we got to Okoboji, IA where we stopped for lunch.
When we used to live in Carroll, we would stop here often for lunch.  It is Los Pueblos and it has really great Mexican food.  Not as good as the place in Texas, because nothing will compare to that, but it's decent.  After filling up on chips, salsa, tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, and rice, we were on the road again.  We finally crossed back into MN.  We were getting ready for another break, and we came across the sign for the Jeffers Petroglyphs.  Curiosity finally got the best of me, so we took the road to it and ventured the 4 miles off our path to see them.  As we pulled up, we saw a visitor's center.  Hmm...not what I was expecting.  I thought it was a park where we could get out, look at some petroglyphs and we'd be on our way.  Wrong.  After digging out the stroller from the trunk, we were on our way.  As we walked in, I noticed it would cost me $6.  Ok fine.  Whatever.  I drove this far, I've always wondered, and it would help preserve history.  I asked the lady if we could go out to the site.  She suggested we watch the 8 minute video to learn more and look around the visitors center.  And we had to wait a few minutes because the guide had another group out already.  What?!  This is a guided tour?!?  What did I get myself in to!!??  Hunter really wanted to watch the video, so he went into the theater.  I tried with Brody, but he was terrified.  After a couple of dirty looks, I left the little theater and we looked around some more.  Hunter thought the video was interesting.  The lady then showed us some of the tools the Indians used.  Hunter was very interested and asked questions.  Brody was bored.  Finally it was time for us to walk the 1/4 mile out to the site.  Once there, our guide told us more info about the petroglyphs, we could ask questions, she showed us the petroglyphs since they can be hard to see.  And we had to walk on a two foot path that was roped off so we didn't ruin any of the petroglyphs.  Brody hated this.  It was not how he imagined stretching his legs and it was obvious he wanted to run.  Hunter had no clue what he was looking at besides some rocks.  Had I been there alone or with Craig, I think I would have enjoyed it and would have appreciated it more.  But I was so frustrated and irritated and was ready to get home.
We made the 1/4 mile trek back to the visitors center and interrupted a ceremony that was going on by a group of 15 or so Indians.  Oops!  We went to the bathroom, changed a diaper and walked out to a very smoke filled, funny smelling visitors center.  We got to the car and I realized that I just spent $6 and one and a half hours there.  Ahhh!  No more stops, please!!
This is one of the petroglyphs she pointed out.  It is a turtle.  It is fascinating, but not ideal for small children.  On the road again we were.  Right before Olivia, MN, Hunter had to go to the bathroom again because his tummy hurt.  False alarm again and it was just gas.  Phew.  We grabbed Subway to go and finished our journey home.  We finally arrived to our house at 7:30 PM.  It was a full day of travel and adventure.
Even with how busy we were and all the curves along the way, we had a great time visiting Craig, seeing his site, his home away from home and being able to cross off another state on my list.  Hunter and Brody's too.  Not sure when we'll make the next trip down, but I definitely hope it is less eventful.

Hello, Summer!!

Today we were able to get outside, enjoy the warm sunshine, and get a taste of summer.  Hunter has been begging me to get his new Slip-N-Slide out for a few weeks now and we were finally able to today.
 Someone's having fun!
Once Brody woke up from his nap, we brought him outside so he could enjoy the warm weather and splash around in the water.  I'm not sure if he liked it...what do you think based on this picture?
The boys loved splashing around in the little pool at the end of the slide.  It was a bit chilly though and they didn't sit in it very long!
One of Brody's favorite thing to do was drink from the sprinkler.  Every time he got a drink he would say, "Yum!  So good!"

I hope the weather is great this summer and we are able to spend a lot of time outside in our yard.  One of these days we'll have to get the pool and water table down from the rafters in the garage.  But until then, the Slip-N-Slide will provide hours of entertainment.

Adios Training Wheels

It was a big weekend in the Zappe Household this weekend. We were super busy, but one of the big highlights was taking the training wheels off Hunter's bike. It didn't take him long and he was off zooming around like the training wheels never existed. However there were a few spills and he now has a couple of scraped knees.
He is so proud and loves riding up and down the driveway on two wheels. To me it's just another reminder that he is growing up so fast.

Lasting Imprint Walk

This past weekend I had the opportunity to volunteer for the first ever Lasting Imprint walk in Minnesota. A dear friend of mine started the organization after losing her daughter to a congenital heart defect and wanted to do something to help people with children still struggling with a CHD or those who have lost children due to a CHD. She also wants part of the proceeds to go towards research to help figure out why this is happening to 1 in every 100 children born.

The day started out damp. We got to the park around 8:00 AM to start setting up. It was cloudy, gray and looked like rain. And you could feel the humidity in the air. I quickly realized it was pointless to straighten my hair that morning. Oh well. About 15 minutes into setting up, the rain began. The question came up many times, do we move the walk inside or wait it out? Will people even come? After checking radars and hourly forecasts, the decision was made that we would continue to set up outdoors and the walk would go on as planned outdoors. After the decision was made it became wet. Very wet. The rain was coming down harder and there was a cool breeze coming off the lake. Walking between the two park shelters where stations were being set up, I tried to take a short cut by going through the grass vs. staying on the path. Bad idea. My shoes instantly filled with water and my socks were soaked. And there was nothing I could do about it.

Around 11 o'clock, people started to show up for registration. They were decked out in rain gear and umbrellas. Many kids had their cute rain boots on and loved splashing around in all the puddles. They were ready rain or shine!! Our fears were calmed as the registrants continued to roll in. Around 11:45, the time the walk was to begin, the rain quit and the sun pushed through the clouds and it quickly warmed out. How perfect! The walk began with just a few rain drops and was a huge success with roughly 200 participants.

The walk consisted of two laps around the lake. The first lap was in honor of the survivors and those still fighting the battle of a CHD. The second lap was in honor of those who are no longer with us. Posters of children were set up around the path and on the ones who have lost a life, there was a white balloon attached. During the second lap, a balloon was released at each poster for those no longer with us. Very sweet and touching.

The day continued with children's activities such as face painting, obstacle course, hair color station, bean bag toss, bouncy house, and a children run called David's Dash in honor of a little boy who lost his life who would have turned one that day. Every kid who ran the race received a medal and they were very excited and proud.

We finished cleaning up around 4:00 that afternoon and just as we finished up it clouded over and it began to rain again. The timing couldn't be more perfect and it was so obvious that God was watching out for us in order to have a successful event.

I am so excited that Lasting Imprint will be hosting another walk this September in Alexandria. I hope that the weather cooperates and that the support will be just as amazing if not more.

Frosty the Snowman

Yesterday, the weather was absolutely gorgeous for February in Minnesota! Upper 30's with little to no wind. The boys and I went out to Craig's parents to go sledding for the afternoon. Hunter and I came up with the idea that it might be fun to build a snowman.

The snow was perfect for it and we made quite the snowman! He was even taller than me. However, it had been so long since I've made one, I forgot how heavy the snowballs can get when trying to lift them. It's not as easy as it was in elementary school when you had over 5 people pushing it up. But, we (we as in me) got it!
Hunter was very excited to put the carrot nose and 2 eyes made out of coal and hat and scarf on the snowman. He really could have cared less about building it although he did help. But he was kind of disappointed that our snowman didn't come to life when we put his hat on.

After Brody woke up from a nap, he came outside with Craig's mom. I brought him down to show him the snowman and take his picture with it. Let's say, they didn't bond very well. It was either that he was scared of it or he didn't like sitting in the snow knowing he couldn't get up on his own.

It was a fun filled afternoon! Hopefully we get out more this week! The weather forecast looks great! Who knows, maybe we'll build another snowman.

A Thanksgiving to Remember

Well, as I said before, we hosted our first Thanksgiving ever. I was a little worried, didn't know what to expect, didn't know how to make a turkey or dressing but, it went amazing! Our first turkey was a success and so delicious. I'm serious. Everyone said so...and I even tried it myself. And, it wasn't just a little turkey...we decided to go big or go home and made a 24 pound turkey!!! That's right! It was the biggest one I could find at the grocery store. And thank goodness we did because we ended up having 24 guests at our house ranging from 6 months-well...I won't give that age away :)
Craig carving the turkey.

It was a great time to see aunts, uncles, and cousins that I don't get to see everyday. We are lucky to see eachother once a year. My dad comes from a family with 9 children, so it is hard to get a big group of us all together now that we're spread out across the country. Well, world once I think about it. I had one cousin travel from Colorado and another who surprised all of us, including her parents and siblings, and came from Israel!!! So amazing to see them again!

We had a great time with many laughs, sharing stories-some new some old, great food and great company. I will never forget this Thanksgiving and am so thankful to have such an amazing family who support me and love me for who I am. Thank you to all of you who came and made this day possible!
When I was putting Hunter down to bed Thanksgiving night, I asked him if he had fun. He told me he did. I asked him what he thought of my cousins (it has been about 3 years since he has seen most of them). He told me, "Mom, they're really nice, but they're really wild!" Haha! I think he said it perfectly! But that is a good thing. When we are together, we know how to have fun and the room is always filled with laughter. And saying good-bye is always hard. We never know when we'll all be together again. It seems as if all of our lives are so busy now. But we fully take advantage of the MN good-bye, and nobody walks out of the house without 3 hugs from everyone. It has taken Craig awhile to get used to this...well, he might not be yet, but he's learning. At least he knows to expect it now. Oh! And we always try to take a cousin picture. But good luck trying to get all of us looking decent in a picture. We're too busy laughing and talking. Oh well, we have fun doing it! And this is proof:

Considering how many of us there were, this is pretty good!

"Serious" picture.

"Crazy" picture. I think this one sums us up pretty well.

Wish Me Luck!

Well, some may say I'm crazy, and maybe they're kind of right, but this year I am taking on hosting my first Thanksgiving! I'm slightly nervous since I have never made a turkey before, but very excited!!! If weather cooperates, it is looking like we will have anywhere from 20-25 relatives here. I'm totally up for the challenge because I love to entertain. And I can't wait to see my loved ones-some that I haven't seen for awhile.
So, wish me luck as I attempt my first turkey, make the other fixings and try to keep my house clean from the daily tornado that comes through about 5X a day! May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving and if you are traveling, please be safe!

Conferences

Tonight I had Hunter's first preschool conference. Wow, that doesn't even seem possible! It seems like just the other day he was running around in diapers toddling around. I am realizing that time is going by way too fast and my little boy is growing up.
Ok, so I already knew that, but tonight really put it into perspective. Going into the conference I was a little nervous. What would she have to say? Was he well-behaved? Does he pay attention? Will she tell me that I really need to be doing more of something to get him more on track? Does he listen? Does he respect her and his classmates? Normal things that run through a parents mind...I think. I figured that we would be ok on most accounts, but yes, believe it or not, Hunter can be a bit of a stinker and likes to cause some trouble. He's not always the best listener. After cleaning his room up he informs me that it is too clean and we should mess it up again. He is a boy after all. After opening the conference with a prayer, Hunter's teacher asked me if I had any questions or concerns. My response was, "Well, I don't really know. Should I? I feel like he's doing ok, but you're the one who sees him here."
She assured me that Hunter is doing very well in school. She also told me that he is a joy to have in class and is always willing to help out, share, pick up, interact etc. She didn't really have any concerns for him except for continuing to build the muscles in his hand for fine motor skills. The teacher was showing me all of the progress he has made since the beginning of the school year. He only goes twice a week and has gone a total of 19 days, but in that short amount of time, he has gained so much knowledge. His writing has improved immensely. He has gone from writing H-U-scribble-scribble-scribble-T-scribble to writing H-U-N-T-E-R. He drew a picture of himself at the beginning of the year. To be honest, when she showed it to me, I had no idea what I was looking at. I saw a circle and some lines. That's about it. Then she showed me another picture that he drew of himself last week. This time, he had eyes, hair, a mouth, nose, fingers, feet...you name it! Amazing!
Sometimes it makes me sad to think how fast he is growing up. Don't get me wrong, I am excited for him and can't wait for what lies ahead in the future for him. It is just that I know I will never get these days back and cherish every moment with him and Brody. I am so thankful that I am able to stay home with them and watch them each day of their lives.
I know that this is the first of many conferences to come. I hope that in the years to come they continue to be this positive. Keep up the good work, Hunter!

To Blog? Or not to Blog?

For awhile now, I have wanted to post a blog. I just didn't want people to feel like I was copying them or doing what everyone else was doing. And I'm not. I am doing this for me.
When I was in middle school, I found a love for journaling and it helped me through some of the hardest days of my life. A part of me misses it. I had fun doing it and it helped me collect my thoughts from the day.
Now, as a mom of two, I don't want to forget the little stories, the little moments. People always tell me to "write it down", but honestly, I forget by the time I'm off of the phone or get home. Some days I feel like I have a million things that need to get done by bedtime and I don't have time to jot it down. But, I don't want these memories to slip away. Some are funny! Milestones! The little things in life usually matter the most. Sometimes, I just want to call someone and tell them all the cute things Hunter says or the new things Brody is doing. I just don't have the time! Or, I think of it as I'm falling asleep.
So, my hope for this blog is to capture the little moments in time that I won't get back. A way to share with all of you the current events in our life and a way to share with Craig while he is on the road. I don't have enough time on the phone with him to tell him everything and when he calls, I am exhausted and say "Yep. We had a good day. Good, but busy."
Sometimes I just need a place to go to vent about something. Ramble on about something that might not make sense, but if I get it out, I feel better inside. So, there may be some of that too. Who knows!
I'm excited about this. I'm not sure how often I will post, but hope to often. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be boring, but if so, oh well. It is my space to write down the things that matter the most to me.
